2023 marked a year where the future of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) evolved closer to present-day reality, and Transnomis was at the forefront, driving change across Canada. From cutting-edge panels in Vancouver to impactful workshops in Toronto, here we recount 2023 ITS Canada's most influential events that we participated in.
As a leader in the intelligent transportation sector, Transnomis not only embraced but also significantly contributed to the advancement of ITS in Canada throughout 2023. Our journey, interwoven with ITS Canada's series of summits, conferences, and innovation workshops, showcases our commitment to evolving traffic and analytics solutions.
Starting with a groundbreaking presentation in Vancouver, BC in March, we were featured in the Traffic & Analytics Cutting Edge Panel at ITS Canada's Technology Innovation Forum.
Transnomis took part in ITS Canada's 2023 Annual Conference in Windsor, Ontario in June. As a part of the Public and Private Partnerships panel, we proudly presented our Permit Central solution and innovations, a collaborative effort with the City of Toronto.
In October, at the ITS Canada Technology Innovation Forum in Montreal, our partnership was on display as Michael de Santis from Mi8 highlighted our work on the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel repair project. This presentation focused on our advanced travel time analysis, contrasting public transit with vehicle travel, offering fresh perspectives on urban transportation efficiency.
In November, the massive GTHA Training and Technology Summit in Toronto capped off the year. As a proud Gold sponsor, we delivered a one-hour interactive training workshop, titled Leveraging Technology to Support the Construction Right of Way, which emphasized using technology to help coordinate and assess road construction applications. We were also invited to sit on the ITS Support for Construction Panel, giving our insight into the use of our new RoDARS Central and Permit Central applications to help municipalities deal with ever-increasing construction and roadway access demands.
Throughout the year, we also participated in conferences related to road permitting, where our Permit Central solution really shined. This included the Ontario Good Roads Annual Conference, 2023 ROW Management Conference
We are excited to build on the momentum generated in 2023. With a renewed focus on developing innovative solutions and forging strong partnerships, Transnomis is poised to lead the way in transforming Canada's transportation landscape. We’re on our way to safer, smarter, and more connected communities through delivering reliable solutions to those who need it.
