2024 ITSC Canada Mobility Award for Smart Mobility Connected Infrastructure - Honorable Mention
The City of Toronto launched RoDARS Central - an innovative Road Disruption Activity Reporting System backed by Transnomis' ITS Central - enabling contractors and utilities to schedule and receive city approval for road disruptions. This system streamlines applications and manages traffic by organizing disruption info efficiently.
2024 Innovation and New Technologies Award from the Association québécoise des transports (AQTr)
Transnomis, in partnership with Innovation Mi8, enhanced the Louis-Hippolyte La Fontaine Tunnel Bridge's traffic management by integrating cutting-edge sensor technology and ITS Central. This improves real-time traffic monitoring, data analysis, and public communication, aiding traffic flow and safety during the tunnel's major refurbishment.
2024 TAC Technology Achievement Award - Finalist
Our work with the City of Toronto - RoDARS Central - received recognition as a Finalist for the Technology Achievement Award and was details were presented at a TAC webinar in July 2024. This project continues to garner attention for its ability to handle traffic disruption information and other traffic application efficiently.
2022 Engineering Project of the Year: Small Projects Category
Together with our partners at Black & McDonald Limited, we have been awarded the second-place. Thanks to the Professional Engineers of Ontario (York Chapter) for recognizing our work on the Toronto Maintenance Awareness Platform, a cutting-edge system that helps City staff and contractors maintain and manage critical traffic infrastructure.

This solution offers drivers real-time queue and stopped vehicle warnings on HWY 405 at the important Canada-USA border crossing in Niagara Region.
2021 Excellence in Municipal Systems - Municipal511 Road Issue Management and Distribution
Grey County was one of 2021’s award recipients for the implementation of Municipal511 to improve management of road issues in the county.
2018 IAEM Canada Merit Award: Dave Colvin, Perth County, Municipal511
Dave looks after the emergency management coordination for the county as well as four neighboring municipalities using Municipal511.
2018 CACP Motorola Solutions Award - Excellence in Emergency Preparedness
